～英語の歌遊び by Mieko Horikoshi~Let’s Enjoy English Songs!〜
やさしい英語の語りかけと馴染みのある英語の歌で、会話や手遊び、言葉遊びを楽しみました。英語が得意な小学３年生は流暢な会話を披露してくれました。せっかく習ったり身につけたスキルも入院中はお預けだったり使う機会がなかったりですが、好きなこと得意なことを皆に見てもらたり聴いてもらったりする機会も自然に作り出している、というのもSHJの専門家による活動ならではです。乳児室ではゆったりと穏やかな曲を弾き語りしました。
Children enjoyed English songs and conversation. A ten years-old boy who was good at English was so happy to speak English. In hospital, children tend to give up doing or showing their own special skill as there’s no chance or no places to do that. But SHJ’s activity by professional artists sometimes provide them good opportunities to express him/herself. It makes them feel so pride of him/herself and this chance is absolutely needed for those at such young age.
