Activity Report 〜スマイリングホスピタル関東地区活動記録〜

～イラストレーター真鍋麻里さんの貼り絵・塗り絵教室~Coloring and Collage～

• ハロウィンの貼り絵と塗り絵教室。去年、鳥の貼り絵をした男の子が再入院になり、麻里さんの活動をまたやりだかっていたところだったへ麻里さんが。大変喜んで塗り絵を楽しんでいました。繰り返し訪問することの大切さを改めて実感した瞬間でした。今回は小さいお子さんが多かったので、ハロウィンの塗り絵が大人気！貼り絵のモチーフはハロウィンの飾り付け用に病棟にプレゼント。
• One of SHJ popular artists, illustrator Mari-san brought Halloween collage and coloring. She visited just when the boy who discharged once but came back had been missing Mari-san’s collage. What a good timing! Regular visiting is worth doing for such patients who repeat hospitalization or are obliged to stay long.

～バルーンアート・マジック・ジャグリングby NIKONIKO大使ガイさん~Balloon, Magic and Juggling～

• プレイルームにはお母様、保育士さんも含めて満員御礼！最初から終わりまで子どもたちのケラケラ、キャッキャという笑い声でそれはそれは賑やかでした。個室を全て回り、入浴、処置中でお留守のベッドにもそっとバルーンのプレゼント。最後の部屋は手術を待つ母子にマジックを。不安な気持ちが少しは和らいだでしょうか。マジックのいいところで看護師さんが呼びに来たけど、あと１０秒！とお願いしてハンカチのマジックを再開。実際は３０秒ほどに延長してくれた看護師さん、ありがとうございました！
• The playroom was full house with lots of children, mothers and nurses. It was filled with children’s cheerful laughter. Every single room was visited with Guy-san’s present of balloons. In the last room, a boy and his mother were waiting for a call from operation room, where Guy-san did a small show of magic. In the middle of the magic, a nurse came to take him to the ope. room but she gave him another 20 sec. to finish enjoying the magic. Thank you, the nurse!

～いっとくさんの紙芝居~Reader’s Theater by Ittoku-san～

• いっとくさんの紙芝居＠療育室つばさ。スタッフの膝の上の子どもたちは紙芝居がはじまるとどんどん前へ、そしてやがて紙芝居舞台にかぶりつき！いっとくさんの歌やお話に、手を挙げたり、手拍子したり、身を乗り出したり・・。そしてキラキラの瞳・・子どもたちは本当にお話が好きなんだな〜。
• Children in staffs’ laps started to move to the reader’s stage when Ittoku-san began to read the stories. One of them even came very close to the stage showing lots of interest. All enjoyed songs, stories and Ittoku-san’s talking. Children really love story telling.

～NIKONIKO大使ガイさんのバルーン＆マジック＆ジャグリング～

• プレイルームに集まってくれた幼児さんとお母様、お父様、そして保育士さん。ガイさんのマジックとのこぎり音楽、バルーンアートを楽しみました。ちっちゃな子どもでも、カラフルなハンカチなどの小物を使ったマジックはとてもわかりやすくて、楽しめた様子。笑い声があふれました。全ての病室を回ってバルーンのプレゼント。お昼寝中の子どもにはそっと作ったバルーンをベッド柵に固定してSee you again!
• Guy-san’s magic is easy enough for small kids to understand what is going on as he use colorful things and rather big things. A balloon was presented to each child in every private room.

～モンスターになろう！~Let’s become a monster!～

• モンスターになろう！by佐々木優子さん＠神奈川県立こども医療センター。新聞紙を使って素敵なドレスをお母さんと一緒に作ってご機嫌な女の子たち。入院したばかりの不安を抱えた女の子にとって入院に対する印象が改善されたと保育士さんからの嬉しい言葉。もう一人の女の子は手術直前にお姫様になり、そのまま「バイバイ、ありがとう！」と言って手術室へ。レスパイトケアという言葉を実感した瞬間でした。男の子たちはもちろんモンスターに！がおー！
• Children transformed themselves into something/someone that they like by making masks, comstumes with newspapers and tapes. Two of the girls became princesses with such beautiful dresses, one had just hospitalized and been feeling very nurvous but a nurse said that she seemed to get better impression about the hospitalization, another girl was to get surgery after this and finally she was called by a nurse, then went to the operating room in her vaunted dress so proudly.

～大道芸人よーへーさんのマジック・ジャグリング・パントマイム~Magic, Juggling & Pantomime～

• この病棟では特に人気のよーへーさん。パントマイムは、こどもも大人もよーへーさんのしなやかな動きに圧倒されて見入ってしまうほど。カードやコインを使ったマジックはこどもたちの憧れ。おー！すごい！の声は毎度の反応です。ジャグリングには挑戦する子もいますが、今日は見てるだけ！？で満足。
• Yohei-san is especially popular at this ward. His pantomime moves audience so much that everyone just keeps quiet and enjoy the scene. His magic with cards and coins is children’s favorite.There are always so many exclamation marks in the playroom!!! Sometimes some kids try juggling too!

～遊ぼう！英語でマジック＆遊び歌~Let’s enjoy singing and magic in English!～

• マジックコメディアン・クラウディと英語で遊ぼう！＠療育室つばさ。４〜５歳のちびっこも、クラウディの愉快なトークなら英語だって全然難しくない！歌あそびあり、マジックありの盛りだくさん。スタッフもちょこっと英会話教室。最後はみんなでThank you very much. See you soon!
• English is not difficult with Comedian Cloudy. They really enjoyed the time talking, singing, and joining his magic… The staffs also had an English lesson and they are really good learners!         Well done!

～もっきんぽっと”音楽とお話の紙芝居朗読劇~Readers’ Theater by Mokkin-pot～

• もっきんぽっと”音楽とおはなしの紙芝居朗読劇”＠日赤医療センター。小児病棟ではお孫さんの付き添いのおじいさま、ずっと笑顔で紙芝居に参加してくださる風景も。人気の「つんつんや」、乳児院では音楽と歌で構成できる幼児向けとあって、盛り上がりました！お話を気にしつつ、一人ふらふらマイペース。これも楽しみ方のひとつ！今日は宮城県立こども病院でのSHJ活動も同時開催！
• At the pediatrics ward, a grandfather of a patient also enjoyed the story telling with his grandchild. At the infant home, small kids joined the readers’ theater sometimes being completely absorted in the stories and sometimes walking around with a little curiousity.  Today, another performance was held at Miyagi Children’s Hospital by SHJ musicians at the same time.

～音楽とお話の朗読劇~Readers’ Theater with music～

• 音楽とお話の紙芝居朗読劇byもっきんぽっと石橋和子＆山中一徳@重症心身障害児施設。「まんまるまんまたんたかたん」は、ちび忍者が分身の術を使って大蛇を倒すおはなし。一徳さん「まんまるまんま！」子どもたち「たんたかたーん！」と合わせるとちび忍者がどんどん増えて・・。お話の世界に入り込む子どもたちの瞳はキラキラと輝いて、演者との掛け合いが楽しい活動です。和子さんオリジナルの挿入曲、「初めてのラブソング」はいつも好評。今回はデュエットありで、盛りだくさんのショーでした！
• Readers’ theater with songs and piano performance. Readers and children both got into the stories and enjoyed talking to each other turning into the charactors in the stories. The most popular story was the one about the kid ninja. Many scines like not only readers but duet singers were shown. Kazuko-san’s  original song” The first Love Song” is always popular among all the audience.

～いっとくさんのかみしばい~Kamishibai Reader’s Theater by Ittoku-san～

• いっとくさんのかみしばい。防災訓練と重なって、サイレンや院内放送の隙間にうまくお話を挟むところがまたプロの技！たくさんの紙芝居から投票の結果人気があったのが「おおかみ男はかわいそう」「ミイラ男」・・。やっぱりこどもたちは怖い話が好き。「あんもちみっつ」はじいさまとばあさまがのこった１つのあんもちを、にらめっこでとりあうとても楽しいお話。でも一番愉快だったのは、いっとくさんの百面相！あっぷっぷ！！
• Children like scary stories like “Mummy Man” or “Poor Werewolf”. One of the most fun stories was “Three Rice Cakes”. A couple of an old man and an old woman fought for only one cake left by a staring‐out game. But Ittoku-san’s making all kinds of funny face was the funniest show!
